PACEP Colleagues,
I’m excited to share some updates from the ACEP
Board of Directors and the College with you.
Highlights from June 2026 ACEP
Board Meeting
The ACEP Board of Directors met at ACEP
Headquarters on June 24 and 25, 2026. Some
highlights from that meeting include:
• Reimbursement Advocacy as a Key Priority:
The Board affirmed reimbursement advocacy as a
top priority for the next several years, emphasizing
the need to protect the dispute-resolution process
and accurate data reporting, build a sustainable
funding structure, and invest in member education
about reimbursement and the value ACEP brings
to all emergency physicians.
• Refreshing ACEP Communications: Associate
Executive Director of Communications,
Marketing, and Public Relations Robert Johnson
previewed a refreshed ACEP communications
strategy featuring streamlined newsletters,
stronger social media presence, and a new audio
and podcast network, as well as the opportunity
to engage members with new digital content.
• Additional Board actions:
  — Approved Public Policy Grant Requests from
the CA, NY, and PA Chapters
  — Approved 2026 Emergency Physician salary
benefits survey for distribution to member
